SpaceX CEO Elon Musk unveiled the NEW Starship factory

Elon Musk revealed the first official renders of SpaceX’s Starship Factories.

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk plans to build 1000 spaceships to transport humans to Mars and establish a colony there. He calls these spaceships the modern Noah’s Arks vessels that would save humans from catastrophe and bring them to a new world.

New Starship Factory

SpaceX has begun building a new Starship factory at Starbase Texas. The new factory will be 40 to 50 feet tall and will be able to build Starship sections no taller than five standard rings nine millimeters 30 feet tall.

Florida’s upcoming Starship Factory Center will supply multiple planned Florida launch sites with their own Starships.

SpaceX has lifted and mounted the first orbital flight prototype, Ship 24, on the sub-orbital pad A in preparation for the thrust simulation test. If the test passes, Spacex will begin installing raptor engines.

Elon Musk recognizes the accomplishments of the Falcon teams in the meeting and mentions that SpaceX is on track to launch one rocket per week in the first half of 2022.

SpaceX’s Starlink Satellite Internet has secured close to half a million customers in 32 countries.

SpaceX published the first official renders of its next-generation Starlink V 2.0 satellites. Starships will initially use the massive Pez dispenser-style mechanism to deploy the massive spacecraft in orbit. SpaceX depends on Starship’s success to launch Starlink 2.0 satellites.
