Hasim Rahman Jr. vs. Jake Paul on August 6th is canceled

Jake Paul’s August 6th fight against Hasim Rahman Jr. has been canceled after Paul failed to meet contractual obligations.

Most Valuable Promotions announced the fight between Jake Paul and Hasim Rahman Jr. was off due to Rahman Jr.’s weight. However, Paul refused to fight at 215 pounds, and the fight was canceled.

Jake’s fight with Hasim Rahman was canceled after Tommy Fury pulled out due to travel issues. It’s unclear if Paul will try to reschedule the fight with Tommy Fury.

Jake Paul vs. Hasim Rahman Jr. was set to go down August 6 at Madison Square Garden in NYC, but just one week before the highly anticipated scrap, Most Valuable Promotions announced the fight was off.

Jake responded to Hasim Rahman Jr.’s cancellation, saying he apologized to the other fighters on the card, his partners, his team and the fans.

The New York State Athletic Commission declared that Jake Paul and Hasim Rahman Jr’s fight would not be sanctioned unless the weight was 205lbs, leading to the entire card being scrapped.
