Actress Anne Heche crashes car into Mar Vista home, sparking large fire. Just before 11 a.m., firefighters were dispatched to the 1800 block of South Walgrove Avenue. The car, a 2020 Mini Copper, slammed into the house, igniting a massive fire. Within an hour, firefighters had extinguished the flames and extracted the car from the house.

Anne Heche is in the hospital after her car erupted in flames, with terrifying footage emerging from the scene.

According to the LAFD, Heche was rescued and taken to the hospital in critical condition. SkyFOX footage appears to show Heche attempting to get out of the gurney she was placed in.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the vehicle crashed into a 738-square-foot two-story home built in 1952, causing structural damage and igniting a large fire. According to witnesses, a neighbor ran to the house and safely escorted the homeowner and her pets out. He tried to get Heche out of the car but couldn’t because of the smoke.

There were no other injuries reported. The crash’s cause is being investigated.

Heche has been nominated for an Emmy. ’13 Minutes’ was her most recent film. She also appeared in the films ‘Six Days Seven Nights’ and ‘Volcano.’ She was also romantically involved with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres.
